Real madrid vs Dortmund UCL Final

Thousands of enthusiastic supporters gathered in central London on Saturday, June 1, ahead of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.

Fans were soaking up the festive atmosphere at the Champions League Fan Festival in Trafalgar Square. Meanwhile, Olympic Way outside Wembley Stadium was already buzzing with thousands of people, even with seven hours remaining until kickoff at 19:00 GMT.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team is poised to add another remarkable chapter to Real Madrid’s storied history with European soccer’s premier trophy. With their sights set on a record-extending 15th European Cup and their sixth in the past decade, Real Madrid aims to replicate their dominance from the early days of the competition. Back in the Alfredo Di Stefano era, they clinched the first five titles from 1956 and another in 1966.

However, Edin Terzic’s Borussia Dortmund squad is not merely attending Madrid’s celebration. While their Champions League record includes just one victory in the 1997 final and a defeat in 2013, and they come off a lackluster Bundesliga season, they have proven they can challenge the giants. Their impressive wins over Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals and Paris St Germain in the semi-finals have shown they are undeterred by reputations.
