According to FCC testing records spotted by MySmartPrice, the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy Z Flip 6 is set to receive a slight boost in battery capacity compared to its predecessor, the Z Flip 5. Additionally, details about the Galaxy Ring’s size ranges and battery ratings have emerged, offering good news for those with smaller fingers, as it has been tested down to size 5.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6’s battery is rated at 3,790mAh, based on screenshots shared by MySmartPrice. This is a modest increase from the 3,700mAh capacity advertised for the Z Flip 5. While this might suggest improving battery life, tempering expectations is vital as battery performance can vary. The leaked renders of the Z Flip 6 indicate that there may be a few other changes to the phone’s design.

The 3,790mAh battery rating might be a letdown for those following earlier leaks. Previous rumors hinted that Samsung was testing a larger 4,000mAh battery for the Z Flip 6.
The Galaxy Ring’s battery capacity ranges from 17mAh to 22mAh, depending on the size.

For comparison, the latest Oura Ring, a famous bright ring, has a battery capacity ranging from 15mAh to 22mAh and can last up to seven days between charges.

Samsung officials have stated that the Galaxy Ring will achieve up to nine days of battery life. However, as with all battery life claims, it’s best to adopt a “wait and see” approach until the product is in users’ hands.

In summary, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 may offer a slight increase in battery capacity, the real-world impact remains to be seen. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Ring’s specifications suggest it will be competitive with existing intelligent rings.
