Deadpool and Wolverine Unveil New Popcorn Bucket, Setting Social Media Ablaze

On Thursday, Ryan Reynolds took to social media to reveal the latest collectable for “Deadpool and Wolverine.” As expected from the R-rated superhero franchise, the video unveiling was cheeky and irreverent.

Inspired by the viral “Dune 2” popcorn bucket, the new “Deadpool 3” edition is a playful homage to Wolverine. The bucket, shaped like Wolverine’s head, features an exaggerated mouth ready to be filled with popcorn or any preferred movie snack. Reynolds introduced this quirky item with a short video set to the iconic “Also Sprach Zarathustra” from “2001: A Space Odyssey.”

The video humorously showcases Deadpool tenderly caressing the Wolverine popcorn bucket as the camera zooms in on its plastic details. Popcorn cascades above, filling Wolverine’s mouth, and butter drizzles down his nose. This stunt is the latest in a series of viral marketing efforts for “Deadpool and Wolverine,” which is anticipated to be a major blockbuster this summer.

“It wasn’t their best skit,” Aron commented in a recent Variety interview. “It was great they did it. But when I think of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ I’m going back to John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Jane Curtin, Eddie Murphy. I have very high standards for comedy on ‘SNL.'”

“Deadpool and Wolverine” is set to hit theatres on July 26, promising an unforgettable cinematic experience.
